Marine forum: Resins with enhanced performances

The marine forum will be animated by Mr. Sebastiano Rech Morasutti, TRIMARINE
Member of the SAMPE (Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering) since 1994 and of the SNAME (Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers). In 1995, he co-founded Trimarine in the UK and Italy: consulting, planning, and project management services in the field of naval construction with advanced composites. Director of the Construction Team, construction of the America’s Cup ITA-72
yacht “Mascalzone Latino” for the challenge in Auckland (New Zealand) in 2003, Project

subsequently Technical Coordinator during the 32nd America’s Cup Challenge taking
place in Valencia in 2007, construction of the “Lexus” Class TP52 yacht, winner of
the 2005 Copa del Rey in Palma di Majorca.
Coordinator of the Master’s of Yacht Design at the European Design Institute [IED], which takes place at the IED location in Isola della Certosa, Venice.
